With the start of a new school year I am now looking at replacing some of the teaching we do with Arduino with the BBC Microbit. The school has a small number of them which were purchased a few years ago but never really used.

They seem to offer a more accessible alternative to the Arduinos. I have ecnountered a number of issues with the Arduinos, especially with wiring. Although I personally love the Arduino platform it is frustrating when working with large groups of students and not being able to replicate the wiring successfully. Obviously students make mistake and I feel the Microbit is a little more forgiving with the wiring and programming than the Arduino.
